Free or Paid: three things change.
How many sites, how far back your history goes, and how many reports you save. Everything else is the same on both plans, and the price depends only on how many sites you connect.
Free
Two sites is the Paid plan at €20 a month for both. A second site you connect waits, paused, until you upgrade.
Not a trial. The free plan has no end date.

How paying works. Pay by card and the plan renews every month or every year until you cancel; cancel any time on the Plan & billing page in your account menu, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Pay with crypto instead and you buy a fixed period of a month or a year that never renews. Prices include VAT, and nothing is ever billed retroactively.
What paying actually changes
Three things, and this is the whole list. Each one gets a sentence saying why it matters, because a paid feature you cannot describe in one sentence is a feature people feel tricked by later.
-
You can watch more than one site
Free watches one site. Paid watches as many as you like, priced per site: the rate falls as you add more, and the whole account never pays more than €129 a month. A second site connected on free waits, paused, until you upgrade; nothing is deleted while it waits.
-
Your history goes back 24 months
Free keeps the most recent 14 days and trims the rest. Paid keeps a rolling 24 months: the ~16 we copy out of Google on the day you start paying, plus every day after it, with a day dropping off only once it is 24 months old. That is about eight months deeper than Search Console itself goes, and it is what keeps "this March against last March" a question you can still ask next spring.
-
Save as many Analytics pages as you need
Analytics pages are the tables you assemble yourself. Pick a dimension, pick metrics, save it to the sidebar. Free keeps one, which is enough to see what the feature does. Paid keeps as many as you have use for, with no cap.
- On the free plan too: a daily sync, and an alert on screen when a page or a search term drops
- Delete your account, and everything in it, yourself from the account page. No email to support
What paying does not change
Your data. Free sees your whole site (every page and every search, nothing sampled and nothing cut to a top 50), and every screen works on it. Paying changes three things and no others: how many sites you watch, how far back the archive goes, and how many of your own reports you save. The daily sync, the CSV and Excel downloads and the teammates with their own sign-in are on the free plan too. It has never been a trimmed view of your site, and it will not become one.
Why per site, and why a ceiling
We used to price by site size, a ladder of page and keyword brackets. We took it down, and it is worth saying why: you could not predict your own bill. Two sites belonging to the same company landed in different brackets because one reported five times more search terms, which is not a number anybody knows about their own site before signing up.
Site count is the opposite kind of number. You know it, you control it, and it is genuinely what our costs follow. Each site is one sync a day against a Google quota shared by every user of the service.
The ceiling exists because the honest comparison demanded it. Without it, twenty sites would cost more than a competitor charges for unlimited, and we would be defending arithmetic instead of a product. It costs small customers (the ones this is built for) nothing at all.
One more rule, in your favour: we always charge the cheaper price. If the next band up would cost you less than your own band, you get the next band's price. Nine sites are billed as ten because ten is cheaper.
The whole price list
Rates apply to every site on the account, not just the ones past the threshold. Add your third site and all three drop to the lower rate.
| Sites | Per site | Total per month |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | €10 | €10 |
| 3 | €9 | €27 |
| 5 | €8 | €40 |
| 10 | €7 | €70 |
| 20 | €6 | €120 |
| 22 and upceiling | - | €129 |
More than 22 sites?
The ceiling already covers you. €129 a month is the most an account pays, whether that is 22 sites or five hundred. If you need something the ceiling does not cover, such as a signed agreement or a private deployment, tell us what you need.

The questions people ask
Is there really only one plan?
Yes. The only variable is how many sites you connect. One site can stay free for good; from two sites up every site on the account is priced, at the rate for that count. What paying changes is listed row by row in the two cards above: the same rows in the same order, so you can read straight across. The data itself is the same on both.
What exactly is free?
One site, with your whole site's data (every page and every search, nothing sampled) and the most recent 14 days of daily history, synced every day just like a paid site. Every screen works on it, every report downloads to CSV or Excel, and you can invite teammates with their own sign-in. You can save 1 Analytics page of your own. There is no card and no expiry.
So what am I paying for?
Three things, and this is the whole list. You can connect more than one site instead of one. Your history goes back a rolling 24 months, about eight months past the point where Google's own ~16-month window has already deleted it, instead of being trimmed to the last 14 days. And you can save as many Analytics pages as you need instead of 1. Everything else is the same on both plans: the daily sync, CSV and Excel downloads, teammates with their own sign-in, and every screen on your whole site, never sampled or cut to a top list.
How is the price calculated?
Per site, with the rate falling as you add more, and the rate applies to every site on the account rather than only the new ones. If a larger band would work out cheaper than your own, you are charged the cheaper one. From 22 sites up the total stops rising at €129 a month, whatever you add.
Is it per site or per account?
The price is calculated from your site count and billed once, to the account. That is a change from how we used to do it: it means an agency with twenty sites has one bill with a ceiling on it, rather than twenty line items.
What happens if my card fails?
We retry for 5 days and change nothing about your service in the meantime. The person we are trying to bill is the last one to punish for an expired card. Only after that does the account drop to the free plan, and even then your archive is kept for 3 months so you can resume or export it.
Do I lose my data if I stop paying?
Not immediately, and not silently. If you cancel, the paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If a payment fails, we email you and keep everything running for 5 days while we retry. Either way the account then moves to the free plan and keeps working, and everything already stored is held for 3 months, during which you can pick up exactly where you left off or export the lot to CSV. Only after those 3 months is history beyond the free window deleted. A crypto period works differently: it simply ends on its date. We email you 7 days and again 1 day before; if it is not renewed, the account moves to the free plan that day and history older than 14 days is deleted, so renew or export before then.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. Pay for ten months and get twelve. You can switch a card subscription between monthly and yearly billing at any time, on the Plan & billing page in your account menu. The switch happens the same day: moving to yearly charges the year, less the unused part of the current month, and moving to monthly turns the unused part of the year into credit for the months ahead. With crypto, you choose a month or a year each time you pay.
Why not just use Google's free BigQuery export?
For a technical team it is a genuinely good option and we will not pretend otherwise. It has one flaw you cannot fix later: it only records forward from the day you switch it on and never backfills, so the ~16 months sitting in your Search Console right now are lost to it while it "accumulates". It also needs a Google Cloud project with billing enabled, and it gives you raw tables: the SQL and the dashboards are still yours to write.
When am I charged?
Only when you buy a paid plan. The free plan has no card and no countdown. A card subscription is charged the day you subscribe and then again every month or every year until you cancel. Adding a site to a subscription charges the difference for the rest of the current period straight away, and you see that amount before you confirm. A crypto payment is made once and covers a fixed period; nothing is charged after it. Either way the price is the one on this page, VAT included, and nothing is ever billed retroactively.
Start on the free plan. Decide later.
One site, your whole site, 14 days of history, no card. If you upgrade later we copy the ~16 months Google still holds and keep a rolling 24 months from that day on.
